We look forward to welcoming you to The Misquamicut Club. To ensure an enjoyable visit for everyone, please familiarize yourself with the following guidelines:

Guest Sign In

All guests must be signed in by an accompanying member at each of our facilities, Golf, Beach and Tennis.

Dress Code

To maintain a pleasant environment for all, we have dress code requirements across our facilities which are outlined below. Please note, blue jeans may be worn at Misquamicooks only. Otherwise, blue denim – pants, skirts, jackets and shorts – may not be worn at any Club venue.

Golf:

Men: Slacks or full-length Bermuda/walking shorts and a collared shirt (tucked in). Turtlenecks are allowed in colder weather.
Women: Slacks, Bermuda/walking shorts, or skirts with a sport blouse or shirt. Shorts and skirts must be no shorter than just above the knee. No short shorts.
General: Hats must be worn with the bill forward. No blue jeans, cut-offs, cargo pants/shorts, bare midriffs, tennis, workout, or bathing attire. Golf shoes with metal spikes are not permitted.

Tennis:

All white attire is required, including hats, shoes, socks, and warm-up attire.
White tennis shoes with non-marking soles.
Hats must be worn with the bill forward.

Beach Club:

Formal Deck: Collared shirts required; no bathing suits, sheer cover-ups, workout clothing, bare midriffs, or tank tops.
Side and Lower Deck: Cover-ups and t-shirts are allowed. Shoes and cover-ups must be worn in the Servery.
Dinners: Club Casual dress code applies; collared shirts for men (no tie required, blazers encouraged), dresses or dress slacks for women.
Cookouts: Club Casual dress code. No jackets for men. Blue denim is permitted.
For any wardrobe uncertainties, please consult with your host. Discretion and modesty are encouraged.We have always been a family-friendly community and bathing suits should be chosen with that spirit in mind.

Beach Club Parking:

Parking at the Beach Club is extremely limited. Please consult with your host regarding parking plans prior to your arrival.

Electronics Devices:

Audible use of cellular phones is restricted to parking lots and guest rooms.
Text messaging/email is permitted if it does not disturb others.
All electronic devices shall be set to silent mode at all times on Club property

Photography & Social Media:

No photographs of members, guest or staff should be taken without explicit consent.
Social media posts may not include any form of geotagging mentioning the Club.

Alcohol

Consumption of alcohol on any Club premises by any person under age 21 is not allowed.
You must be 21 or older to attend a Club Dinner Dance where alcohol is served.

Smoking Policy

Per the State of Rhode Island law, smoking is prohibited inside any building at the Misquamicut Club. Additionally, smoking is not permitted on the beach or any of our facilities' decks, porches, or terraces.
Smoking is permitted in our parking lots
These rules pertain to smoking in any form, including vaping and e-cigarettes.

Tipping Policy

Tipping is permitted for Locker Room attendants, golf bag attendants, and caddies only.
